WebYou can camp in the bowl itself, but if you can’t find a spot there’s plenty out on dirt roads that meander. Finding your way in to the bowl is easy too, there are signs. I recommend a car with ok clearance, some of the roads outside the bowl where we camped were gnarly. WebLots of rockhounds and families like the area. We went at around the height of covid restrictions, though. Bring in your own water, and prepare for digging your own cat holes and packing out trash. (There may be a permanent outhouse somewhere along the main dirt road in to the parking area, but it’s been almost 2 years now).
