I've tried resetting it to factory settings, downloading the factory settings in chirp, and then importing a csv of my channel configs, but it still doesn't make noise when I transmit.

WebI just got my first baofeng radio, a UV82. The problem is that it just won't respond on CHIRP when attempting to download from it. I've made sure the cable is in properly but i can't think of anything else i've been doing wrong. The cable is a CH340 and i'm running Win10 if that helps. This thread is archived WebHello!
